MITP FAQs
Q. What time does the show open?
A. Gates are open to the public from 12pm Saturday and 9am Sunday.
Q. Will there be a cashpoint on site?
A. Yes, the marshalls will direct you to the cashpoint.
Q. Are credit cards accepted on the gate?
A.Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate
Q. Is the event solely for Minis?
A. It’s a show purely for Mini cars, however you can attend as a day visitor in any type of car.
Animals
Q Can I bring my pet?
A. No animals of any kind are allowed onto the site.
Camping
Q. Can we camp the night before?
A. There is camping on site at Santa Pod. Nearly 1000 people camped last year! You can arrive on the Saturday from 2pm, up until 2 am on the Sunday morning. Camping is an additional £5 per person, which must be paid upon arrival.

Q. Can I take passengers on the quarter mile drag strip with me?
A. No
Q. Are there any rules or regulations that I need to be aware of?

Q. Do I need a licence to take my car on the quarter mile drag strip?
A. Yes, you will be required to show your full UK (or other EU state) driving licence (both parts if it is a paper licence.)
Q. My licence is away at the DVLA/Police. Can I bring a photocopy?
A. No, a full original driving licence needs to be seen when signing on.
Q. Is it possible to purchase strip tickets in advance?
A. No, only on the day.
Q. Can I use slick tyres?
A. Yes, slick tyres are permitted.
Q. How can I buy a ticket?
A. You can buy tickets both in advance (£10) and on the day (£15). To book, call 0871 231 0823 (24 hours, closes 9th August) or to order online go to www.seetickets.com.
Trade/club info
Q. What time are we allowed access onto the site?
A. Traders and club members have access to the site at 7am, providing you have a vehicle pass clearly displayed in your windscreen. Trade pass holders may arrive from midday on Saturday 14th August to set up.
Displaying your car
Q. I’m not a member of a club, but really want to display my car. Is this possible?
A. Yes, it is possible for you to enter the Concours competition, or you can park your car in the 'Mini-Only Car Park'.
Parking
Q. Is there car parking available?
A. Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.
Q. Is there disabled parking?
A. Yes, there is a disabled parking area, marshalls will direct you.
Q. Is there any way that I can park my car infield, rather than in the public car park?
A. Yes, it may be possible for you to display your car in the Mini-only car park.
Q. Can I sell my car at the show? If so, how much does it cost?
A. Yes you can. For an additional £10, you can park your Mini in the ‘Minis For Sale’ Area at the show. With thousands of Mini enthusiasts attending, this is an ideal opportunity to sell your car. Report to the Organisers Office for your vehicle pass. Individuals are not permitted to advertise their car for sale elsewhere on the site.
