If you want to make a weekend of it, why not join us on Saturday 16th August for a laidback
and fun-packed pre-show day and evening? Entry to Santa Pod is from midday and camping is £6 per person. The 1/4 mile strip will be in full swing from 2pm, so if you want to test your
car prior to the big day you can. It’s £20 for unlimited runs, giving you plenty of opportunity to
tune and tweak and also to practise your launch technique.

For those that fancy driving something even smaller than a Mini, the Santa Pod funfair will be open all evening with dodgems as one of the main attractions.

The campsite is right next to the bar and food units, but you’re more than welcome to bring
your own BBQ and have a few beers with friends and other campers amongst your tents.
Then be sure to pop over to the Fuelers Bar, where we have a great line-up of evening
entertainment. The night will kick off with a set from Kif James, a fantastic solo artist with a
unique style of guitar playing. Then it’s on to the Mini-themed pub quiz, with questions set by
the experts at Mini Magazine. It’s £5 per team (up to 4 people), with all proceeds going to
Macmillan Cancer Support. Each member of the winning team will receive a year’s
subscription to Mini Magazine and a passenger ride on the strip in Stuart Meads’s street
legal drag racing Mini. To enter register in the Fuelers Bar by 8pm.
After the quiz it’s back to the music, with 2 fantastic cover bands to get you up and at it!
The ET Project return this year with their funk fuelled rock anthems. Also joining us with their
super infectious take on dance classics of the last few decades are Heatwave. This band
knows how to party and with their sublime vocals they’ll have you singing and dancing all
night long. » Visit their myspace page for a taster

Finally, for those of you who refuse to go to bed at a reasonable hour, we will be showing the
original “Italian Job” on the big screen in the Fuelers Bar. It starts after the bands, so find a
table and settle down to watch the masters in action with a few more beers.
With all this going on you’re sure to have a superb night with like minded Mini lovers .So join
us on Saturday 16th and don’t forget to pack your toothbrush!
