    New for 2008 – 10 Minute Tech

    The experts from Mini magazine will be bringing this
    popular feature to life at this years Mini in the Park.
    Expect top tips on quick and easy modifications and
    trouble shooting.

    Mini Only RWYB

    Mini only RWYB - £20 for unlimited runs
    The strip will run from 10 am (sign on from 9 am) and
    continue through to 5 pm with a break for lunch. Have a go
    just for fun or for the faster among you compete for the
    quickest times of the day, which will win you a pile of cash.

    Best Club stand

    Best Club Stand

    Improve your club’s finances in 2009. We will be giving the best club stand at this years show a whopping £500 off the price of their stand for 2009. This year’s theme is “Carnival” Winner announced at 4pm in front of the Mini magazine stand. » Find out who won last year here

    Concours competition

    Concours - £5 in advance, £10 on the day
    The popular Mini concours returns. The competition is judged in categories according to year & model. Winners
    will receive trophies and a years worth of bragging rights.

    Mini Push

    Mini Push

    The Mini Push returns for this year’s show, you and your team have to push it 1/8 mile up the drag strip. Teams of
    five, battle it out to compete against the clock and other
    teams to be the best! The winning team gets a top prize
    awarded at in front of the mini magazine stand at 4pm.

    Mini Clinic - Keith Calver

    Mini Clinic
    Our resident expert for Mini Magazine, Keith Calver, will
    be offering you all the hints and tips you need to ensure
    your Mini is the best it can be. Keith will be on hand to give you advice on problems specific to you and your Mini.

    Clubs travel from all over Europe to be at Mini in the park, and are the heart and soul of the event, they are happy for you to ask questions and take a close look at their cars.
    With over 1,100 club cars on display you are bound to find
    a car to fall in love with.

    Mini Rally Stage

    Rally Stage

    After last year’s mudfest the Mini rally stage returns £5 for
    a go in your own Mini or £10 for a passenger ride with one
    of our professionals followed by a go in your own Mini. All
    runs are timed and the quickest driver of the day will win
    a monetary prize.

    Rolling Road

    Rolling Road

    Test your car’s power and torque on state-of-the-art Dyno Dynamics rollers. A power run is £40, which includes a printout of the results and expert tuning advice.

    270mph Jet car

    270mph Jet Car

    If you haven’t seen or heard this monster in action then be
    prepared for an amazing experience! 270 mph in seven
    seconds, a deafening cacophony, and a nutter with his
    body strapped to a jet engine. That’s the Fireforce jet car!

    Drag Demos

    Mini Drag Demos

    We have some of the fastest Minis flexing their muscle on
    the 1/4-mile strip. Expect plenty of burnouts and three-digit
    speeds as these small but powerful cars show us how
    quick they can be.

    Mini Magazine Readers’ Car Display

    This year we have pulled out all the stops to present the
    best selection of Minis in Europe. The Mini magazine crew
    have been busy working on their display so you can
    expect a real treat with all types of top-notch machinery
    on show.

    Huge trade area

    Trade & Retail Area

    New and used Mini spares, body parts, engine parts,
    carbs, wheels: you name it, the chances are someone will
    be selling it at Mini in the Park, along with a huge auto-
    jumble and performance enhancing bits and bobs.

    Cars for sale area

    Minis for Sale (£10)

    Where better to sell your Mini than at Mini in the Park’s
    Cars for Sale area. With a captive audience of Mini addicts, where better to make the sale

    Kids entertainment

    Kids’ Entertainment

    Bouncy castles, inflatable slides, sumo suits and more all
    for free Give them an ice cream and that should keep the
    younger ones happy! Also the Santa Pod fair - ground will
    be open.
